Is your dog or cat three years or older? If so, there’s an 80% chance they are already dealing with oral disease according to the American Veterinary Dental Society. We continue to learn more about how our pet’s dental health impacts the rest of their system, much like us humans. As such, Tavares is working to make dental care a priority and accessible for all clients and budgets.
Pet dentistry does include anesthetic procedures to clean and possibly repair/remove problem teeth. If left untreated, your pet’s dental health can reduce their body’s ability to resist infection or can even introduce infection. Any time anesthesia is involved, your pet will have their very own medical concierge! Their very own nurse will accompany them through the entire procedure, from the time they begin to doze off to the time they wake up!
Ask our staff about our dental months and dental packages to learn how your pet’s dental can be incorporated into their annual wellness.
